Middle School Girls Group

Thursdays: 6pm - 7 pm Old Chapel Hill Rd Park 

Designed for classic, challenge, recreational and school level girl players 

Elite High School Technical Group (co-ed)

Tuesdays & Fridays 7am Herndon Park

Mondays 5 pm Herndon Park (followed by sports performance session 6pm-7pm)

Designed for top club level players who are interested in playing college (current 9th-12th graders).

PSI Small Group Training

About Small Group Technical Training Sessions

Sessions are designed to improve players' technical skills and tactical awareness.The small group environment allows for individualized feedback and skill development with an emphasis on learning appropriate form. Sessions will be individualized to match the goals and skill levels of the players in the group. The small group will also focus on implementing skill work with tactical decision-making in 1-vs-1 and 2-vs-2 scenarios. 

About Small Group Sports Performance Sessions

Sessions are designed to improve speed, agility and quickness specific to soccer in a small group setting. The sessions will address full-body (age-appropriate) strength, plyometrics, injury prevention and correct landing/cutting techniques. Sessions will include elements of the Sportsmetrics (evidence based injury prevention program). 

All training sessions will be programmed and run by Mollie Pathman - former NWSL professional soccer player, current physical therapist (PT, DPT) and personal trainer (CSCS).

About:

Players can sign up session by session and can attend multiple sessions per week. Players may be appropriate for several different groups and can select the group they feel is most appropriate or mix between groups based on their schedules. 

Dates & Sessions: spaces limited & first come first serve 

  • Sessions will be held most weeks during the fall season 

  • Drop ins welcome. Players can sign up and pay session by session. You can attend one or multiple sessions per week 

Cost:

  • Single session: $40 each​ technical session / $45 sports performance session

  • Payments: the card on file will be charged at the end of each session (no advance payment required) 

 

Location: varies

  • Technical Training: Herndon Park - every day except Saturdays and Thursdays (Old Chapel Hill Rd Park)

  • Sports Performance Sessions - Peak Rehab (3400 Westgate Dr Suite B 14C Durham NC 27707) & Herndon Park

** Field location subject to change based on availability but will remain in the Durham/Chapel Hill area.

How to schedule online (new scheduling platform)

  • a) follow the link to the website: https://peakrehab.janeapp.com

  • b) scroll down and click "small group technical training" 

  • c) click the desired training 

  • d) a pop up will appear to bring you to the first date on the calendar

  • e) you can scroll through week by week or navigate to the desired day and select the session you would like to book

  • f) if you would like to book multiple click book "more." If you want to book a single session or have selected all sessions click "im done"

  • g) create your online profile

  • h) you can modify your appointments and sign up for additional confirmations

  • i) complete liability waivers and intake forms

What players need to bring
  • Technical trainings: a soccer ball, water bottle, shin guards, soccer cleats / turf shoes

  • For all indoor sessions: players must wear turf shoes or running sneakers  - no cleats allowed indoors

Weather policy

  • Sessions will be moved indoors to Peak Rehab (located within Triangle Athletic Complex) in the event of inclement weather

  • In the event of extreme weather or unsafe driving conditions sessions will be cancelled and rescheduled for a future date

  • Parents and players will receive at least 12 hour notice of location change or cancellation of any event. Please check your email in advance of the training for any updates.

COVID policy

  • Masks are currently not required for outdoor trainings or indoor training, but mask policy is subject to change in accordance with North Carolina and Durham guidelines.

  • Players and parents will monitor symptoms and should not attend sessions if they or their family members are experiencing any symptoms of COVID 19 or have had a known exposure. 

  • Mollie is fully vaccinated and boosted x4

Cancellation policy

  • Players can cancel a session up to 24 hours in advance through the web calendar link. Please try your best to give advanced noticed (>24 hours) as spaces are limited.

  • Cancellations within 12 hours will be evaluated on a case by case basis and may result in a $20 charge of the sessions. We understand unforeseen circumstances arise and will be excluded from this policy. 

Payment 

  • When scheduling, you will be asked to put a credit card on file. You will be charged following each session (no advanced payment necessary).

  • If you prefer to pay through cash or check please let Mollie know prior to the session
